A night out in Miami turned into a nightmare for one man after police say he was drugged and robbed by a woman he had just met. Authorities have arrested 26-year-old Bianca Thorpe from Grovetown, Georgia, accusing her of orchestrating a calculated theft that left her victim more than $25,000 in the hole.

According to the Miami Police Department, the victim encountered Thorpe and another woman at Coco Night Club in Wynwood in the early morning hours of June 11th. After leaving the club, the trio picked up food at a Jamaican restaurant and headed to the man’s apartment near 14th Street in Miami. What seemed like a chill late-night hangout quickly turned into a trap.

Once inside, the victim briefly stepped away to grab bed sheets from his dryer. When he returned, he sipped on some Brisk iced tea and immediately began feeling strange—he got a pounding headache and overwhelming fatigue. Thinking nothing of it, and assuming both women had fallen asleep on his couch, he went to bed. But by the time he woke up around 10:30 a.m., the women were gone, and so were a long list of his belongings, including a Rolex watch, a Cuban link chain, an iPhone, cologne bottles, his ID, several bank cards, and even a Ring doorbell camera. The estimated value of the stolen items? A hefty $25,350.

Police used surveillance footage from the club to ID Thorpe, noting a distinct tattoo on her neck that matched what was captured in the video. The victim had also unknowingly helped track her down by paying for the suspects’ parking via a mobile app, giving officers key vehicle info. They later located a Dodge Durango linked to the crime parked in northwest Miami-Dade. When detectives approached Thorpe, she asked for a lawyer and ended the conversation.

Thorpe now faces serious charges, including burglary of an occupied dwelling and second-degree grand theft. And she’s not alone—Miami authorities say this incident is part of a larger pattern playing out across nightlife hotspots like Wynwood, Brickell, and South Beach. Similar cases involving suspects from California, New York, and Las Vegas have seen men robbed of high-end items like Rolex watches after being unknowingly drugged during a night out.
