Ghislaine Maxwell’s Brother Vows To Fight Her Guilty Verdict

Ghislaine Maxwell’s family is upset, calling her conviction for sex trafficking a “tremendous injustice.”

The disgraced British socialite’s prominent family claims that she was unfairly portrayed as a “demon queen” and “the most hated woman in the world” for her association with the late billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein.

“Ghislaine has been denied justice — has been denied a fair trial,” her older brother, Kevin Maxwell, told ABC News. Maxwell said he was “still shocked” at Wednesday’s verdict.

“The presumption of innocence never existed,” Maxwell said, insisting his family is “very confident” his 60-year-old sister will eventually be cleared on appeal.

“I am confident of the strong grounds for appeal, both legal and evidential and that my sister will be vindicated and ultimately found innocent,” he said.
