Giveon Pulled Up to Magic City Looking for Rabbit Tricks, Found Twerking Instead

On a recent episode of The Baller Alert Show with hosts BT and Ferrari Simmons, R&B singer Giveon shared one of the most unexpected and hilarious stories from his early touring days.

Back in 2019, while opening for Snoh Aalegra, Giveon was in Atlanta asking where he could grab a good bite to eat. Everyone kept recommending Magic City Wings, so naturally, he figured he was headed to a fun, family-style restaurant, maybe even one with some dinner magic tricks.

“I thought someone was gonna pop out a little car or something,” he joked.

But when he pulled up to the iconic Magic City, he started noticing things were a little different.

“I saw stripper poles… then I saw strippers and I was like, are those the servers?” he recalled.

To make things even funnier, Giveon had never been to a strip club before; this was his first and only time.

And despite all the buzz about the wings?

“They took like 45 minutes,” he said. “I wasn’t even hungry anymore.”

Lesson learned: not all magic is family-friendly.
