Luxury watches are getting more cinematic, and this latest drop is moving like a sequel that refuses to play second to anything. Jacob & Co. is back in its mob movie bag, unveiling a $440,000 musical timepiece inspired by “The Godfather Part II,” and the ambition here is loud without saying a word. The brand’s founder Jacob Arabo is doubling down on a concept that already felt larger than life, this time pushing it further with layered storytelling and mechanical precision.

“’The Godfather Part II’ is one of those rare sequels as strong as the original,” Arabo said. “We’ve put so much thought and creativity into this second opus that we believe it’s a worthy sequel.”
That confidence shows up in the details. The watch doesn’t just tell time, it performs, playing two melodies composed by Nino Rota from the original film’s score. While most luxury pieces lean on aesthetics alone, this one leans into experience, turning nostalgia into something you can literally hear.
Arabo made it clear this wasn’t a quick flex either. “I wanted The Godfather II timepiece to offer a different take on the musical timepiece concept,” he said. “We designed a refined, 1930s-inspired case and spent three years developing a movement that could play two melodies while remaining wearable.”
Only 74 pieces exist, a direct nod to the film’s 1974 release, each featuring Marlon Brando as Don Corleone on the dial. At nearly half a million, this isn’t about accessibility. It’s about legacy, obsession, and the kind of luxury that speaks in code.
