Hailey & Justin Bieber Threaten To Sue Surgeon Over Plastic Surgery Claims on TikTok

Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon Dr. Daniel Barrett has been hit with a cease-and-desist letter over a TikTok he posted in which he suggests Hailey Bieber has undergone plastic surgery.

According to TMZ, the Beibers’ legal team is claiming that Barrett used Hailey’s name, image, and likeness, in the video without permission to advertise his practice and “spread false, uncorroborated claims that Mrs. Bieber has undergone plastic surgery.”

The video that was posted over the weekend is captioned “plastic surgery secrets, part 14.” The surgeon compared side-by-side photos of  Baldwin-Bieber from 2011 and now. He claims that the changes between them are “physically impossible” to achieve without the help of cosmetic procedures. Then goes on to say he believes she’s had a rhinoplasty, a genioplasty (a chin implant), and lip filler.

Hailey and Justin’s lawyers say the TikTok includes a number of violations such as “misrepresentation, defamation, slander, false light, violation of rights of publicity, copyright infringement, trademark and service mark infringement” and more. Barrett’s also being accused of copyright infringement for using lyrics from Justin’s song, “Sorry.”

The couple is giving Barrett 24 hours to take down the video and issue a public retraction before they pursue further legal action. The surgeon told TMZ that he has no plans to remove the video, though. He feels he has done nothing wrong and explains that the purpose of the video is merely to educate about plastic surgery.
