Months after the death of Heavy D, his cause of death has been revealed. The coroner has classified Heavy D's cause of death as "natural" citing that he died from a pulmonary embolism caused by deep leg vein thrombosis. In other words, blood clots formed in Heavy's legs moved to his lungs, blocking arteries and causing his death.
