Heinz is looking to fix the messiest part of your drive-thru order. The condiment giant just unveiled the “Heinz Dipper,” a new fry box that actually has a built-in compartment for your ketchup.
This is a first for the brand, and they’re pitching it as a solution for anybody tired of balancing sauce packets on their dashboard or trying to dip fries while walking.
Instead of the usual struggle, this box is engineered specifically for dipping on the move. Heinz is starting with a limited release to see how people handle the new design before deciding if they’ll roll it out everywhere.
For now, you can find the Heinz Dipper at a few specific spots across the country:
• Los Angeles: Select Fat Sal’s Delis
• Chicago: Devil Dawgs locations
• Philadelphia: Pat’s King of Steaks
• Dallas: Lucky’s Hot Chicken
The new boxes were also spotted at college basketball games over the weekend for fans watching Texas Tech and USC. Heinz isn’t just keeping this in the States, they’re testing the Dipper in ten other countries, including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Philippines, Thailand, China, and Kuwait.
According to the brand, this trial run is the ultimate test for expanded distribution. If it’s a hit, the days of juggling fries and sauce might finally be over.
