Hillary Clinton Meets With Black Lives Matter & It Gets Intense (VIDEO)

No politician is safe when it comes to having to address issues in the African American community. Black Lives Matter activists have made themselves heard on the campaign trail, crashing the stages of Martin O’Malley and Bernie Sanders. They were denied entry to Hillary Clinton’s campaign event in New Hampshire but if you thought that was going to keep them from getting to her, you thought wrong.

Members of the Boston chapter of Black Lives Matter met with Clinton backstage following her campaign event last week to exchange views on the treatment and mass incarceration of Blacks in America. The exchange got pretty intense at some points, too. You may recall Hillary was very vocal in promoting the 1994 Violent Crime and Law Enforcement Act (the largest crime bill in history, the act caused federal incarceration to nearly double during Bill Clinton’s presidency).

One of the activists featured in the video, Julius Jones , makes a great point to Hillary that almost seems like she took offense to. In the second video he says, “If you don’t tell black people what we need to do, we won’t tell you what you need to do. There’s not much WE can do to stop the violence against us.” To which Hillary begins to push back and says, “Well, if that is your position then I will speak only to white people about how we will deal with very real problems.”

Watch the videos below to see how that meeting went.
