Jackée Harry Confirms ‘Sister, Sister’ Reboot: “It’s Happening. I’m Excited”

In the wake of the return of ‘Roseanne’, the ‘Full House’ spin-off and talks of a ‘Moesha’ reboot, comedian Jackée Harry has confirmed that another ‘90s reboot is in the works.⠀⠀⠀⠀

According to Harry, a ‘Sister, Sister’ reboot is definitely happening. Just months after both Tia Mowry-Hardict and her twin sister, Tamera Mowry hinted at the possibility of a remake, Harry confirmed the news on the ‘Steve Harvey’ show on Tuesday.

“Yeah, it’s happening. I’m excited,” Harry said. “Tia and Tamera are my babies. They won’t leave me alone. I can’t get rid of none of these women.”

According to reports, Harry will be returning to reprise her role as Lisa Landry, Tia’s mother.

If you haven’t caught up with any ‘Sister, Sister’ reruns, the show follows the lives of adopted identical twin sisters, who were separated at birth. By fate, the two meet in the mall, get to know each other and eventually blend their two families into one. According to reports, most of the original cast will be returning for the reboot.
