Imagine saying you copped a house for a steal at $200 million. Well, apparently, The Carters just closed on a 30,000-square-foot Malibu home that is said to be an “unbelievable deal.”

The sprawling property’s recent purchase makes it the most expensive home ever sold in California and the second most expensive piece of real estate in the country—a $238 million apartment in NYC takes the cake.

According to TMZ, the home that sits on an 8-acre bluff with views of the Pacific Ocean was once listed at $295 million.

The home was designed by Tadao Ando, a Japanese master architect, and it took its previous owner William Bell, a renowned art collector, 15 years to build the home located in the Paradise Cove area.
