He explained that the family intends to create a museum that will spotlight the creativity and influence of his brother Michael Jackson along with the artistic contributions of the wider Jackson family. He said the museum will house artwork and personal pieces that document Michael’s evolution from his earliest years in the 1960s to his final chapters.
The overall initiative is reportedly supported by Jackson Family Legacy Investments. Jermaine noted that the collection includes rare collaborations that have drawn attention from art enthusiasts around the world. Among the most notable items is a Marilyn Monroe portrait that carries the signatures of both Michael Jackson and Andy Warhol.
Dr. Louis Niang, an authority in international business law, has assessed the value of the entire collection at $1.6 billion.
Jermaine also shared that the family is exploring the idea of launching a dedicated exhibition in Monaco. He described it as a potential world premiere event. If leaders in the region approve the plan, he believes the exhibition could open to visitors within the next one to two years.
According to Jermaine, the museum will feature two significant collections from the Jackson family. One of these is the Michael centered Treasures Collections.
This set includes paintings that highlight the people who shaped Michael’s world and inspired his career. Altogether, the project is expected to showcase close to four hundred works from both Michael and other family members. These pieces have been kept in storage in Washington for many years and will finally be presented to the public in a curated format.
While speaking with Monaco Info, Jermaine offered a deeper look into what he wants audiences to experience.
“We present the legacy of the Jackson family with this museum. It’s actually the collection of treasures created by my late brother Michael. There are over 200 pieces and we want to have it here. Monaco is very special to us. His Excellency Prince Albert II has always been close to the family. He knew Michael. What you will find in this museum are objects from different family members and things dear to us. We want to make it special. I call it a ‘Show Seum’ because we like to entertain and create that ‘wow’ effect.”
Jermaine also described his goal of building a fully immersive environment for visitors.
He explained that the experience may include guided storytelling, visual displays, and brief musical touches that highlight different eras such as the Jackson Five period.
