Amid the legal battle between Jesse Williams and his estranged wife Aryn Drake-Lee, the actor has been ordered to cough up an additional $17,000 per month for spousal support.
According to TMZ, a judge approved the agreement earlier this month, raising Williams’ spousal support from $33,000 to $50,000 per month. Lee had reportedly requested an increased based on Williams’ salary, as the two continue to work through the details of their divorce.
Now, Williams has to pay $50,695 per month, while Lee covers the cost of the home. However, under the agreement, Lee will also be awarded half of Williams’ residuals for “Grey’s Anatomy” from the last five years. In addition to all of that, Williams will also be required to fork over a $50,000 advance for Lee’s legal fees related to their divorce, the publication reports.
