Jordan Craig, the ex-girlfriend of Tristan Thompson, is requesting that a judge uphold her ex’s $40,000 per month child support payments.
Craig and Thompson share a 6-year-old son, Prince.
On Wednesday, the influencer filed an “abstract of judgment” in Los Angeles. This filing is designed to establish a public record in case the child support debt goes unpaid. It’s worth noting that there’s been no indication of any missed monthly child support payments from Thompson to date.
The initial payment arrangement for the former couple was established in 2019, during the athlete’s tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he was earning an annual salary of $17.7 million. Since that time, the NBA players’ earnings have significantly decreased to $9.2 million, according to RadarOnline.com.
Additionally, he has expanded his family, welcoming two children with Khloé Kardashian and one with Maralee Nichols.
In December 2022, Thompson and his son Theo’s mother, Maralee Nichols, agreed that he would pay $9,500 a month in child support.
According to the DailyMail, Thompson has to pay $120,000 a month in child support to all three of his children’s mothers.
