Judge Says Robin Thicke Has A History Of Domestic Abuse

On Thursday, a judge ordered Robin Thicke to stay 100 yards clear of his 6-year-old son Julian, ex-wife Paula Patton and Paula’s mom, after finding Thicke has a “history” of physical abuse.

Paula claims that Robin has abused her several times over the course of their marriage. In her declaration, Paula tells the judge that she and Thicke got into a fight at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2013 and Thicke hit her to the upper body with a closed fist,  pushed her onto the ground and threatened  to “bash my f***ing head in” multiple times.

She tells the judge that in February 2013, while she was filming “Witchcraft,” Robin and their son came to stay with her. According to Paula,  Robin was supposed to take care of the Julian, but early in the morning, he began screaming in front of them that he wanted to “f***ing sleep … Who do you f***ing think you are not letting me sleep!”

Paula notes multiple other times where things weren’t right between Robin and Julian. She includes a time when Julian asked Robin for a hug before bed and instead she says Robin came back to his room and spanked him. She says that she started to really notice the behavior changes in November.

Paula also says that Thicke has a huge cocaine problem and that she’s caught him cheating on her.

Thicke’s lawyers call the abuse allegations “unfounded.” A source close to the singer tells TMZ, “If these multi-year-old allegations were true, why is she only raising them now in the midst of a custody dispute where she’s the only one violating the judge by denying Robin access to the boy?”

Robin and Paula will be in and out of court for the next three months as the judge determines who should get custody.
