Justin Bieber Reveals That He Is Battling Lyme Disease in Upcoming Documentary

Justin Bieber will drop his highly anticipated Youtube documentary on January 27th, titled “Justin Bieber: Seasons.” One of the documentary’s biggest revelations will be that the 25-year-old singer has been battling Lyme Disease.

While it has not been revealed how he contracted the disease, it usually comes from a tick bite, with symptoms including rashes, headaches, and fatigue.

In March of 2019, Bieber admitted to his social media followers that he was struggling with mental health. However, at that time, he did not disclose that his mental health struggles, in part, had much to do with his struggles with Lyme.

Bieber was photographed in November, leaving a Beverly Hills medical building an IV in his arm, leading to much speculation about what was going on with him. The rumors ranged from it being a vitamin drip to some sort of drug abuse treatment. We now know that was a part of his treatment for the disease.

Before doctors were able to properly diagnose him, they prescribed the singer a slew of medications, one of which caused an allergic reaction, which caused his skin to break out badly.

“While a lot of people kept saying justin Bieber looks like shit, on meth etc. they failed to realize I’ve been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health,” Bieber wrote on Instagram. “These things will be explained further in a docu series I’m putting on YouTube shortly.. you can learn all that I’ve been battling and OVERCOMING!! It’s been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far incurable disease and I will be back and better than ever NO CAP.”

It appears that Bieber is back on a healthy path after finally being properly diagnosed and treated. He is gearing up for his comeback, releasing the first single “Yummy” from his new album and accompanying tour.
