In a slightly disturbing new music video, an animated Kanye West appears to bury Pete Davidson.
In the record “Eazy,” alongside west coast rapper, The Game, Ye takes shots at Kim Kardashian’s new boo. He raps, “God saved me from the crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.” The sneaker mogul is seen doing just that in the clay animation or “claymation” visual. Kanye’s character kidnaps a man by tossing a bag over his head and tying him up with ropes. Yeezy then drives him to a location and snatches the bag off, revealing Davidson’s face before he sprinkles rose seeds on his head.
As the video progresses, roses begin to sprout from Pete’s head and are then loaded into the back of a pickup truck. This particular portion of the video is eerie, considering that Ye recently sent his ex-wife a truckload full of roses on Valentine’s Day, though that did not help save his marriage.
On Tuesday, a judge declared the beauty mogul legally single, despite Ye begging for his family back during very public and bold social media posts. Kardashian’s maiden name was restored, though the couple must still work out the specifics of their divorce settlement.
Pete Davidson has not publicly commented on the video.
