Kanye West Plans to Introduce Affordable Yeezy

In a recent interview with Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, Kanye West discussed his plan to partner with Payless to create cool, affordable adidas sneakers.

West tells Annie Mac that he had a conversation with the CEO of Payless and hopes to introduce a $30 sneaker through adidas.

“I’m going to adidas and I’m like ‘adidas, I know you’ve never made a shoe under $50, but we have to make a shoe that costs $30. And I’m gonna wear it. It’s gonna be the coolest shoe of all. To me, this think I’m saying is the thing i’m most excited about of anything I’ve ever done.”

Kanye also switched gears to say that he has taken an interest in interior design.

“I have to work with Ikea – make furniture for interior design, for architecture,” Kanye said. “Yo Ikea, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes.”

It hasn’t been confirmed whether or not adidas and Ikea will take Kanye up on his offer. In the meantime, we will just wait in line for the next Yeezy drop.
