Kanye West Talks Blacks Voting Democrat: It’s “Based Off The Welfare System That Says We Will Give You More Money If You Have Kids”

Over the weekend, Kanye West appeared on the season 44 premiere of “Saturday Night Live,” to perform his two new songs: “I Love It” with Lil Pump and “We Got Love” with Teyana Taylor. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In a third, unexpected performance, West took the stage wearing a MAGA hat – as the credits rolled – to perform “Ghost Town” featuring Kid Cudi.

But, before the live show wrapped for the evening, West stayed on stage to give a Pro-Trump rant, where he addressed Black Americans, political parties and his forthcoming political run.

“The blacks want always Democrats…you know it’s like the plan they did, to take the fathers out the home and put them on welfare…does anybody know about that,” he said Saturday. “That’s a Democratic plan.”

The rant sparked widespread criticisms and backlash, but still, West doubled down on his argument in Monday’s interview with Harvey Levin for TMZ.

“I know that Blacks being Democrats and not being Republicans is based off the welfare system that says we will give you more money if you have kids in your home than if you have masculine energy in your home,” he said. “Leadership.”

However, his claim prompted a quick response from Levin, who condemned West for his unfair representation of his own community.
