Karrueche Tran A No Show In Restraining Order Case Against Chris Brown

Earlier today, #KarruecheTran’s manager, #JacobYork, took to twitter to reveal a few details concerning the legal battle between Tran and #ChrisBrown.

“So we won,” York tweeted. “The judge agreed the Chris was served and now he has to meet her in court!! No ore (sic) running.”

If you recall, the former couple has been on the outs since their public break up. However, things heated up after Tran filed documents for a permanent restraining order, claiming Brown had been threatening her. Weeks later, a video surfaced of a man trying to serve Brown with the documents to meet Tran in court, however, according to the singer, he never received the documents.

In any case, a court date was set for Tran to detail her side of the story, however, it appears things didn’t go as planned for the model. According to TMZ, Tran was in New Orleans on Tuesday at the time of the scheduled court date, preparing to testify via telephone. But, unbeknownst to the model, the judge requires 12 days notice before the hearing to appear via phone. Although TMZ said the judge continued the case so that Tran could file the correct paperwork, York says it’s not true.

“TMZ needs to stop with their bs, the lawyers are still in court as we speak…,” he tweeted. “No lose (sic) silly media.”

Since then, both York and Brown have been going back and forth. Initially, Brown said York was lying about their win in court, just before TMZ released the story about the continuance. In turn, York told the singer to wait and see what will happen next month, saying “Ok we will see June 15th what’s sad and false Mr. Brown.”   Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, then chimed in to back his client, saying “When you can’t be bothered to wake up and your ‘manager’ tells you that you won so he can college 5% of your 100 dollar appearance fee.”
