Kendall Taylor Says He Built His Own Multi-Million Dollar Company Before Fantasia While Responding To Father-In-Law’s Theft Allegations [Video]

As tension continues between Fantasia Barrino and her father, Joseph Barrino, Taylor jumped on Instagram Live to respond directly to the claims that he benefited from his wife’s fame or mishandled money. From the start, he made it clear he built his own foundation long before he met the singer.

“When I met my wife, I was running my own multi-million dollar company. Period,” Taylor said. “That means her success, her career didn’t build me, didn’t shape me.”

He pointed to his training at Sunoco Leadership Academy, BMW Black Belt Training, Tuck School of Business, Small Business Accelerator, and the CMETI Business Initiative as proof of his business background. He also spoke candidly about being a justice-impacted individual who had to overcome “criminogenic mindsets and trauma and behavior” to reach success.

However, he said money was never the motive.

Taylor revealed that he was the one who requested a prenup before marrying Fantasia.

“I asked for the prenup,” he explained, adding that he wanted her family to know he had “no intentions on coming after anything that she had established before she met me.”

He said he needed to protect his business partners and create space for their relationship to grow without suspicion.

He also claimed that after their wedding, “chaos broke out,” alleging that Joseph, the person now criticizing him, “didn’t show up to the wedding” and refused to get to know him.

With that, Taylor made it clear he is defending both his reputation and his marriage.
