– Blogged by @tktrinidad

We are all excited for the movie “Black Panther” to come out on February 16th and to add to the excitement; it has been announced that #KendrickLamar produced the soundtrack with the help from Top Dawg label founder, Anthony Tiffith. The first song will be with Lamar and SZA entitled,  ‘All the Stars.’

Lamar said in a press release, “Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director. The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I’m truly honored to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvel’s vision.” This is kind of a big deal since this is the first time Marvel hired someone to do original music for a film. According to reports, film director Ryan Coogler personally reached out to Lamar for the project.
