Kentucky Judge Accused Of Having Threesomes With Staff In Courthouse, Faces Nine Misconduct Charges

Family Court Judge Dawn Gentry of Kenton County, Kentucky allegedly had threesomes with her secretary and a former pastor in her courthouse chambers, as well as gave attorneys special treatment if they appeased her sexual demands and donated to her campaigns for re-election. Now, the 38-year-old is facing nine misconduct charges.

According to an investigation by the Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission, Gentry flirted with attorneys via Snapchat and put pressure on them to sleep with her. Individuals who complained to the commission about Gentry claimed she used the courthouse as a funhouse to have sex with former pastor, Stephen Penrose.

Daily Mail reports Gentry and Penrose are in a band together, and according to Gentry’s ex-husband, they were having an affair during their marriage. Despite their relationship, Gentry gave Penrose a job in the court as a case specialist.

Katherine Schulz sat on a panel with Gentry that was set up to hear cases about abused children. She claims Gentry told her to download Snapchat and then used it to ask her to seduce her now ex-husband, Brian Gentry. In an affidavit obtained by The Cincinnati Enquirer, Schulz said Gentry was trying to have her sleep with her estranged husband so she could then pin her divorce on him being unfaithful. Gentry then asked Schulz to have sex with her and Penrose at a legal conference. When she declined the invite, their friendship went left, and Schulz later resigned from the panel.

The judge is now waiting for a disciplinary hearing within the next two or three months, although she denies the allegations. The nine charges from state investigators relate to favoritism, sexual advances and consuming alcohol in the courthouse.
