Kenya Moore Says She Supports NeNe Leakes Coming Back to ‘RHOA’: ‘[She’s] One of the O.G.s’

Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore says she supports NeNe Leakes coming back to the show.

Last week, NeNe Leakes sat down with the hosts of the daytime talk show “The Real,” explaining how she would be “happy to return” to “RHOA.” “Yeah, sure, I’ll return to the show,” said Leakes, adding that she has some “unfinished business” to address with her former co-stars.

While the two aren’t always on the same page, Moore says she wouldn’t be opposed to Leakes coming back. During a virtual interview with Page Six, Moore said she supports the idea. “I do think that she has a very interesting story to tell now, especially with the unfortunate passing of her husband [Gregg Leakes],” Moore told the news outlet.

“If it were up to her fans, they would say, ‘Absolutely yes, bring her back.’ She was a viable cast member for many, many years,” Moore, 50, continued. “[She’s] one of the OGs, and you can’t take that away from the franchise.”

As for their tension-filled relationship, Moore says she feels she and Leakes are in a “decent place” now. “I did go to Gregg’s repast, and I did think that we had gotten to a place where we felt better about each other and the relationship.”

In the last couple of months, news from RHOA revealed that longtime stars Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey would be making their leave from the show. Meanwhile, veteran Shereé Whitfield would be making a return, and Marlo Hampton is set to have a peach of her own. Drew Sidora, Kandi Burruss and newcomer Sanya Richards-Ross will also be a part of the cast in the upcoming season.
