Kevin Durant Teams Up With ESPN For Sports Business Show “The Boardroom”

Two years after Kevin Durant joined forces with the Golden State Warriors, the Maryland-bred baller is teaming up with another sports powerhouse to create a new athletics business show, titled “The Boardroom.”

According to Deadline, Durant’s Thirty Five Media is partnering with ESPN to produce the six-episode series, for the Disney’s ESPN+ streaming service.

Hosted by ESPN’s Jay Williams, “The Boardroom” will provide a behind the scenes look at the evolution of sports business, told through the perspectives of those in the business, including other athletes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Durant and his business partner, Rich Kleiman, will serve as executive producers for the show, and make regular appearances throughout the series. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“We’re excited to partner with ESPN for this series,” Durant said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to bringing fans insights from some of the greatest minds in the sports business world and show how athletes and thought leaders are changing the game.”
