Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Had “Very Little Interaction” At True’s Birthday Party

Over the weekend, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson celebrated their daughter’s first birthday with a “drama-free,” family-filled party, complete with pastel decorations to coincide with Khloe’s Instagram theme. The celebration kicked off just days after the one-year anniversary of Thompson’s first cheating scandal, and two months after Thompson’s most recent cheating scandal, which occurred back in February.

But, despite the drama, Khloe made sure Thompson was included in the festivities.

“Khloe has no desire to shut Tristan out of True’s life,” a source said ahead of the party. “He is her father and Khloe is much bigger than that.”

According to PEOPLE, the event went off without a hitch, as Khloe “asked her family to behave and leave Tristan alone,” throughout the shindig. In fact, sources say Khloe even kept her distance from her ex, in an effort to keep the party as calm as possible.

“Tristan attended the birthday party with some friends,” the source said. “Khloe seemed a bit nervous about having him there, but there was never a question if he would be invited,” as it is, “super important to Khloe that True spends as much time with Tristan as possible. Khloe wants True to have a great relationship with Tristan.”

But, when it comes to Khloe, sources say she steered clear of her baby daddy outside of pictures for baby True.

“Khloe and Tristan posed for some pictures together with True, but otherwise had very little interaction,” the source added. “Khloe let Tristan spend some alone time with True.”
