Kid Rock and Trump

Kid Rock Kicks Off Bad Reputation Tour With Video Message From Donald Trump [Video]

Kid Rock kicked off his Bad Reputation tour with a video message from Donald Trump on Wednesday.

The recorded message played before Kid Rock came on stage at the first stop on tour in Evansville, Indiana, at the Ford Center.

“Hello, everyone. I love you all. I know you’re having a great time at the Kid Rock concert tonight,” Trump said in the video. “Quite frankly, he’s amazing. All of you in attendance are truly the backbone of our great country. Hard-working, God-fearing rock-and-roll patriots.”

The 51-year-old rocker, born Robert Ritchie, has been vocal about his support for Trump.

“Bob is truly one of the greatest entertainers of our time,” the 45th president of the United States added. “Not the best golfer by any means, his golf game could use a little work, but a great, great entertainer, and that’s why you’re there. Let’s all continue to love one another, fight for our God-given freedoms, and most of all, let’s make America rock again.”

Trump concludes the video by putting on a red hat that says “Make America Rock Again,” a play on his controversial “Make America Great Again” slogan.

A staunch Trump supporter, the rapper-turned-southern-rocker is touring in support of his latest album, Bad Reputation, which dropped in March. He has previously headlined rallies supporting the former president and visited him at the White House in 2017.
