A source tells Us Weekly that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage may be on the outs. After 2 and a half years of holy matrimony, a Kardashian friend tells the magazine that “she wants a divorce.”
“It will take some time before she can do anything,” the friend claims, saying that Kim K is trying to build a case for full custody of kids North, 3, and Saint, 12 months. “But she doesn’t want to stay married,” the source adds.
According to reports, Kim has already began distancing herself. Since Kanye West was released from UCLA Medical Center’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital on November 30, he’s been receiving outpatient treatment at an L.A.-area rental while Kim’s been with the children at their home in Bel-Air.
The friend tells Us Weekly that a decision on the marriage won’t be made until Kanye is healthy again. Until then, Kim will continue being a supportive wife to her husband. “She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs,” continues the friend, “but she’s felt trapped for a while.”
