Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Co-Parenting With Kanye West, It’s “Really F*cking Hard” [Video]

On Monday, during the latest episode of Angie Martinez’s IRL podcast, Kim Kardashian discussed her co-parenting situation with her controversial ex-husband, Kanye West.

As she broke down in tears, Kardashian sobbed, “Co-parenting is really f*cking hard,” in response to her highly publicized divorce that was finalized this November.

The two share daughters North, 9, Chicago, 4, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 3.

Kardashian maintains that she is doing what she can to shield their children from what is posted online despite what West is doing.

“If they don’t know things that are being said, why would I ever bring that energy to them?  That is real, heavy, grownup s— that they are not ready to deal with,” she said.  “When they are, we will have those conversations.  One day, my kids will thank me for not sitting here and bashing their dad.  I could.”

“I definitely protected him,” she explained, “and I still will in the eyes of my kids.  For my kids.  So, in my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on [in] the outside world,” Kardashian shared.

“I am holding on by a thread.  I know that I am so close to that not happening,” she shared of the kids.  “but while it is still that way, I will protect that to the end of the Earth as long as I can.”

In addition to being awarded $200,000 per month of child support, Kardashian was ordered to pay half of the children’s medical, educational, and security expenses as part of their divorce settlement.
“My kids don’t know anything,” she reiterated.  “So, at school, some of my best friends are the teachers, so I know what goes on at recess and lunchtime.  I hear what is being talked about.”
These days, Kardashian says she strives to feel at peace and “free” of other people’s opinions.  Regardless, she has to remain positive for the sake of her kids.

“If we are riding to school, and they want to listen to their dad’s music — no matter what we are going through — I have to have that smile on my face and blast his music and sing along with my kids.  [I can] act like nothing is wrong, and as soon as I drop them off, I can have a good cry.”
