It was reported that five-time All-star Klay Thompson suffered an injury yesterday while competing against current and former NBAers at a Los Angeles gym.
The injury took place Wednesday during a pickup game in Southern California, just hours before the Warriors selected James Wiseman with the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA draft.
It has been reported that the Golden State Warrior star will miss the entire 2020-21 season after suffering from an Achilles tear.
Thompson had already missed the entire 2019-20 campaign after tearing his left ACL during Game 6 of last year’s NBA Finals, and he will now be robbed of a second consecutive season in the middle of his prime.
This news is devasting to the five-time All-Star, the Warriors organization, Golden State fans everywhere, and the league in general.
