Kylie Jenner breaks her silence on the Astroworld tragedy. The makeup mogul says she and Travis are “devastated” by the deaths at Friday’s concert.
Early Sunday, Kylie shared her statement and responded to the critics saying the show wouldn’t stop despite the constant plea from the crowd. Kylie, who’s currently pregnant with her second child, attended the show with her daughter Stormi and sister Kendall Jenner.
“Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured or affected in any way by yesterday’s events,” Kylie said.
Jenner came under fire following the concert when she posted pictures from the show where an ambulance could be seen. Many people blamed Travis for not stopping the show, but Kylie came to her man’s defense.
“I want to make it clear we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing,” she wrote.
Kylie wrapped up her statement by saying that she is praying for the families involved and affected by the event.
