LAPD Identifies Suspect In PnB Rock’s Murder, Warns That He’s “Armed and Dangerous”

Los Angeles police have identified a suspect in the murder of PnB Rock, and they say he is still on the loose and is “armed and dangerous.”On Wednesday, police named Freddie Lee Trone as “a person involved” in the shooting death of the “Selfish” rapper at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles earlier this month.”On Monday, September 12, 2022, Rakim Allen, aka “PNB Rock,” arrived at a restaurant located at the 100 block of West Manchester Avenue with his girlfriend,” the news release said. “As they were having lunch, a suspect entered the restaurant and approached Allen. The suspect shot Allen and removed some of his property. The suspect also demanded property from Allen’s girlfriend.”

Police shared a photo of Trone and urged the public to call 911 if they have any information on his whereabouts.

“Freddie Lee Trone has been identified as being a person involved in the murder of Rakim Allen,” the release continued. “He should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, you are urged to call 911 for immediate assistance.”

So far, police have not said if Trone is the only person they’re looking for since surveillance cameras did catch a getaway car fleeing the scene after the fatal shooting. However, multiple law enforcement sources told NBC LA that this is the second person the LAPD has pursued in connection to the case. According to NBC LA, LAPD made at least one arrest Tuesday morning during an operation where Trone eluded officials. But police have yet to mention the arrest.
