Authorities have confirmed that they have searched a home linked to singer D4vd and allegedly, they were looking into possible blood evidence in connection to the dead body found inside his Tesla.
The Los Angeles Police Department executed a 12-hour forensic search inside a Hollywood Hills residence where D4vd was reportedly living. Investigators used luminol, a chemical that glows when it comes into contact with even trace amounts of blood. They searched not only floors and walls, but also drains, sinks, and various surfaces where blood may have been cleaned up.
This search follows the grim discovery of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose decomposed body was found inside the front trunk of a Tesla parked near the property. The vehicle is registered in D4vd’s name and had reportedly been abandoned for weeks before the smell alerted nearby residents.
In addition to searching for blood, LAPD collected fingerprints and hair samples from the home. It’s unclear at this time whether any of that evidence links directly to Rivas. While D4vd has not been named as a suspect, the case remains active.
Police believe the artist was staying in the home, which is officially rented by his manager. No arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing, with authorities now focused on tying physical evidence from the car and home to a possible crime scene.
D4vd is reportedly cooperating with law enforcement.
