Las Vegas Woman Drives Into Two People After Argument At In-N-Out Drive-Thru Line

A Las Vegas woman is looking at jail time after she reportedly ran into a crowd of people at an In-N-Out drive-thru.

They “deserved every bit of it,” said 30-year-old Jessica DeFalco of an April 30 incident in which she drove into two people after an argument took place. And it looks like what she will deserve is every bit of jail time she might receive because she’s now been hit with murder charges, including two counts of attempted murder, two counts of battery with a deadly weapon, and fleeing the scene of an incident.

The two victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Fox News reports DeFalco was hit with the charges the next morning after police arrived at her apartment to arrest her. She’s now being held in the Clark County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.

DeFalco says she felt “bullied” by the crowd.

Fox 5 reports DeFalco was in the drive-thru line at the restaurant when she got into a verbal altercation with a customer who was in front of her. DeFalco, at some point, started honking at the customer while they were placing their order. When the customer got their order and checked their bag, DeFalco started honking at the person again. The news outlet reports that DeFalco never made a purchase.

When people gathered around the scene, DeFalco allegedly started driving into the crowd, hitting two people and another car. In addition, police say she hit reverse and dragged one of the victims from underneath her car.

When police talked to DelFaco about the incident, which took place a little after midnight, she reportedly wasn’t remorseful. Witnesses called DelFaco the trouble starter in the matter. She was tracked back to her home, where she “admitted there was no one in front of her car preventing her from driving away and that (the other woman) never struck her but felt she wanted to,” according to a police report that the Las Vegas Review-Journal obtained.

“I told her someone was hurt,” an officer said he told DeFalco in the police report. “DeFalco asked, ‘Did they die?’ When I told her, ‘No,’ she responded, ‘Okay, then I’m good, they deserved every bit of it.'” DeFalco also told the officer that she struggled with “anger issues” and that she was taking medication for it.

Nevertheless, she’ll have to show up in court for a preliminary hearing on May 17 to sort through the matter.
