LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith had a tense moment after the Lakers’ game against the Knicks on Thursday, and the internet is buzzing about what went down.
A clip circulating online appears to show LeBron stepping to Smith, with many believing he told the sports analyst, “Keep my son name out your mouth.”
While the full context of their exchange isn’t clear, speculation points to Bronny James being the main topic.
This isn’t the first time Smith has spoken on Bronny. Back in January, after Bronny struggled in the Lakers’ loss to the 76ers, Smith went on First Take and said, “I am pleading with LeBron James, as a father. Stop this. We all know that Bronny James is in the NBA because of his dad.”
LeBron recently made comments about young players not wanting to be the “face of the league” due to unfair media scrutiny, and some believe this could also be a factor in his frustration with Smith.
Whatever was said between them, one thing is clear, LeBron doesn’t play about his kids.
