Lil Durk’s Brother OTF DThang Reportedly Shot And Killed Outside Chicago Nightclub

OTF DThang, brother of Lil Durk, has reportedly died after being shot outside a Chicago area nightclub.

According to TMZ, Cook County officials confirmed that Dontay Banks Jr. (DThang’s real name) was found deceased on the 7900 block of S. Loomis Blvd. in Chicago. An autopsy still has to be done to figure out the cause and manner of death.

Social Media erupted with rumors of the 32-year-old’s death early this morning after an account called Chicago Media Takeout posted the news.

That outlet shared the photo of the two brothers together and wrote, “Chicago. @money_making_dthang . When is it going to stop? Durk, you’re in our prayers. @lildurk. Most importantly praying for his kids.”

Reports claim that DThang was shot in the head outside of a nightclub and died on the scene, according to alleged witnesses.
