Lil Wayne Settles Lawsuit With Hollywood Bouncer Who Accused Him Of Racially Attacking Him In 2016

Lil Wayne has finally settled his lawsuit with a Hollywood bouncer who accused him of attacking him in 2016.

The plaintiff, Andrew Nunemacher, told the Los Angeles Superior Court that he came to an agreement with the rapper. According to the court documents, Nunemacher did this with hopes of the case being dismissed by June 1st. It is unclear if the settlement came with a monetary agreement.

In 2016, Nunemacher filed a lawsuit against Wayne, claiming he was in a “racially-motivated attack” with the rapper and his crew. Nunemacher says he was working security at a party hosted by Wayne and 2 Chainz at Hyde in Hollywood.

According to the lawsuit, Nunemacher alleges that Wayne knocked him over and called him “white boy” after throwing a drink in his face. However, Nunemacher didn’t file the lawsuit until a year after the alleged incident. In June 2017, Nunemacher claimed his civil rights were violated, and he wasn’t able to work due to his injuries.

The New Orleans rapper was later brought in for a virtual deposition but wasn’t cooperating with authorities. He only stayed about two hours with his lawyers. Wayne allegedly “abruptly exited the Zoom for the second time and did not return.”

Nevertheless, Wayne’s team was adamant that the footage would prove his innocence which resulted in a settlement agreement.
