Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington Found Dead At 41

Chester Bennington, Linkin Park singer and father-of-six, was found dead in is home in Palos Verdes Estates in Los Angeles on Thursday. His death has been ruled a suicide by hanging.

 

According to law enforcement, Bennington’s body was found shortly bef9 am 9am local time. Bennington’s death comes on what would have been the 53rd birthday of his good friend, Soundgarden rocker Chris Cornell, who also committed suicide last May.

 

For years, Chester Bennington has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse. He also admitted to considering suicide in the past because he had been abused as a child by an older male.
