In a powerful TikTok posted Thursday, the singer didn’t hold back. Speaking directly to those in smaller bodies who criticize people for their size, she made it clear: “It is not your place.” Lizzo reminded viewers that “bodies change,” and it’s hypocritical for anyone to shame others for doing what’s best for themselves.

She emphasized this wasn’t a personal rant, but a stand for those without her thick skin. “We need to stop acting like we’re better than the person next to us,” she said, calling for a society grounded in compassion, not judgment.

Lizzo also pointed out how the body positivity movement was originally for marginalized communities before becoming diluted. She challenged the idea that weight loss disqualifies someone from that space.

“For my bigger body people, do what you want with your body,” she added. “Live for you.”

Earlier this year, Lizzo described her own journey as a “weight release” on The Breakfast Club, explaining that her transformation started mentally and naturally continued physically.
