Louisiana Senator John Kennedy Tells Residents “To Call A Crackhead” Instead Of The Police In New Campaign Ad

Louisiana senator John Kennedy urges residents to call on a “crackhead” if they have an issue with the police.

On Friday, Kennedy released a new bizarre campaign ad. In the video clip, Kennedy tells police critics “to call a crackhead” for help instead of the police.

“Violent crimes is surging in Louisiana,” the ad begins. “Woke leaders blame the police. I blame the criminals. A mom should not have to look over her shoulder when she’s pumping gas. I voted against the early release of violent criminals, for  and I opposed defunding the police.”

He continued, “look, if you hate cops just because they’re cops, the next time you get in trouble, call a crackhead.”

Kennedy has been vocal about his stance on crime and policing. “If we wanna get control of this crime problem that we have, we’re gonna have to do a couple of things. We’re gonna have to hire more cops,” Kennedy said to Fox News. “New Orleans and my state need 2,000 cops on the street. We’ve got less than 1,000.”

The senator also argued that police need a pay increase. “You’re not gonna get cops to work in this woke environment without paying them,” he said.

Kennedy will face Democrat Luke Mixon in November’s 2022 Louisiana Senate Race.
