Man With Florida Shaped Tattoo Arrested For Asking 911 For A Ride

A Florida man with a unique love for his home state was arrested after calling 911 multiple times to get a ride home.

Matthew Leatham, a 22-year-old man from Port Richey with a Florida-shaped tattoo in the middle of his forehead, allegedly called emergency dispatchers on two separate occasions requesting a ride home. It is not clear where he was when he made the calls or why he chose to call 911 instead of a taxi. However, his belligerence was clear when he could not get the answers he was looking for: he cursed at the dispatcher during both calls.

Law enforcement eventually tracked Leatham down early Sunday morning, and he was escorted to the Pasco County Jail. He was charged with misusing the 911 system and possession of marijuana.

He was released after posting a $300 bond.
