Disney’s Lavish New Cruise Ship Has a 2-Story Marvel-Inspired Suite That Costs $38,000 a Voyage

Disney

Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Destiny, made its debut voyage on November 20 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, bringing a host of extraordinary amenities for travelers.

Among the standout accommodations is the Tower Suite, a nearly 2,000-square-foot, two-story space located in the ship’s forward funnel. Accessible via a private elevator, the suite is part of Disney Cruise Line’s concierge offerings.

Guests who book the Tower Suite gain access to the concierge lounge and sun deck, where they can relax with cocktails and light bites.

“With the concierge, of course, comes access to the concierge lounge and sun deck where our guests can relax and enjoy a cocktail or food and beverage,” says Lisa Pickett, hotel director. However, many guests may prefer staying inside the suite itself.

The Tower Suite accommodates up to eight people in four bedrooms. The two main bedrooms each feature a king bed and walk-in closet, while a children’s bedroom comes with a bunk bed and two twin mattresses.

A standout feature of the children’s room is a Marvel-inspired ceiling display. Pickett notes, “Of all of the Marvel characters I think that Iron Man is extremely cool. So I love upstairs in the children’s bedroom, the lights go down and he’s there flying over the bed.”

A first-floor bedroom also includes a double pull-down bed and can serve as a library. All four bedrooms are equipped with flat-screen televisions.

The suite includes four full bathrooms, two of which feature double sinks, stand-alone tubs, and walk-in rain showers. A half bath is also located near the entry for added convenience.

The living space is designed for both comfort and entertainment. It includes a full bar, an impressive dining table, and a fully equipped pantry with a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Sub-Zero wine cooler, dishwasher, and coffee maker.

Pickett points out a unique Marvel-inspired element: “From an adult perspective, I like that as you’re dining you see the Iron Man mask just at the end of the dining table, as well. But all of the elegant features just really elevate so that you’re in the story at the same time as you’re making memories.”

Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the decks below, complemented by a grand chandelier above the main living area.

For ultimate convenience, guests can order meals from any of the ship’s restaurants and have them served directly in the suite.

“We can order from any of our restaurants on board and they can have dinner in their own dining room and we serve that to them as well,” Pickett adds.

Staying in the Tower Suite comes with a luxury price tag.

For some four-day sailings, the cost is around $38,000 for four adult guests, though prices vary based on the season and cruise length. This makes the suite one of the most extravagant and exclusive accommodations available on Disney’s newest ship.
