McDonald’s is tapping back into its value meal era, bringing budget-friendly bites front and center as prices everywhere else keep climbing.
The fast-food giant is expanding its McValue lineup with a new under-$3 menu and a $4 breakfast deal, both set to launch on April 21. The move signals a clear return to the kind of everyday affordability that built McDonald’s into a household name.
The under $3 menu will feature at least 10 items available throughout the day, giving customers room to mix, match, and stretch a few dollars further. Breakfast options include the Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Burrito, Hash Browns, and a medium McCafé Premium Roast Coffee. Later in the day, customers can grab staples like the McChicken, McDouble, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, small fries, or a medium soft drink, all priced under $3.
McDonald’s is also planning rotating deals on select favorites, with prices dropping even lower at times. The Sausage McMuffin will start at $1.50, while the McDouble will hit $2.50 during promotional windows.
The $4 breakfast meal deal bundles a Sausage McMuffin or Sausage Biscuit with Hash Browns and a small McCafé Premium Roast Coffee, offering a full morning combo at a price point that feels almost nostalgic.
Lunch and dinner bundles are also getting attention. A $5 McChicken meal or $6 McDouble meal will include four-piece McNuggets, small fries, and a small soft drink, rounding out the value push across all dayparts.
Alongside the food deals, McDonald’s is keeping its pop culture tie-ins active with a Super Mario Galaxy Movie Happy Meal.
Between the pricing reset and collectible drops, McDonald’s is clearly leaning into both nostalgia and affordability at the same time.
