Meek Mill Tweets Warning To “Keep It Classy” After Nicki Minaj Tells Audience She Could Expose His “Secrets”

In January 2017, Nicki Minaj confirmed her split from Meek Mill after two years together. A few months later, the Philly-bred rapper was sentenced to two to four years behind bars for violating probation, sparking widespread outrage.

As news of Meek’s controversial case and sentencing went viral, the residuals of the relationship fizzled away and both parties moved on. But now, two years later, the two seem to be at odds after Minaj threw a few shots at the Philly rapper.

“Meek still be in my DMs, I be having to duck him,” Minaj said during a recent performance of her single, “Barbie Dreams,” as she paused the music to continue. “I mean, I could tell you secrets but I won’t/Cause being a bitter bitch is what I don’t.”

Almost immediately after the clip hit the internet, Meek took to Twitter to address his ex, warning her to keep it cute.

“Why you be too mad at me and not the people that came right at ya neck,” the rapper tweeted. “I’m cool, I’m doing good. Something is wrong here.”

“Leave me alone you know I get a lil too out of control with the truth,” he continued. “Keep it classy.”

While it remains unclear if Meek was subbing his ex, the rapper has maintained there is no ill will toward the Queens-bred Barbie. But, he also recently revealed that she had him blocked, so it appears Nicki can’t say the same about her ex.
