Mega Millions Raised To More Than $1B After No One Wins Friday’s Draw

You still have a chance to become rich. The Mega Millions jackpot winnings raised to more than $1 billion after no one won Friday’s drawings.

The now $1 billion-plus jackpot is the fourth time in the game’s history to reach the billions, CNN reported.

The jackpot is estimated to be $1.1 billion ($568.7 million cash), according to officials of the Mega Millions. A lucky winner who wins would take home the third largest jackpot in Mega Millions history, it added.

The next drawing will be on Tuesday, January 10.

Although no one took home the big prize, there were more than 4 million winning tickets Friday at other prize levels, ranging from $2 to $1 million, the lottery said.

Five tickets in New York, Florida, Maryland, and New Jersey won the $1 million prize after matching all five white balls.
