Megan Thee Stallion finally spoke up about the incident that occurred over a month ago.
On the morning of July 12, Megan was reportedly shot after an outing with her friends Kelsey Nicole, Tory Lanez, and Kylie Jenner. Speculation surfaced the Internet surrounding the identity of the shooter who was never identified.
After weeks of silence, Megan addressed the incident during an Instagram Live video on Thursday night. On Live, the rapper confirmed Tory as the shooter.
Megan said she was on the way home with Kelsey, Tory, and his bodyguard when the group got into a heated argument. Because she was tired of arguing, Meg said she decided to exit the vehicle when they were five minutes from her home. That is when Megan said Tory took a shot at her as she was walking away.
“You dry shot me,” Megan said of Tory, who she revealed is not in jail.
In addition to calling Tory out, the charting artist challenged him to tell the public why he shot her.
“Tell ’em why you shot me. No reason. Stop fucking lying on me,” she said. ”Stop f—king acting like Black women is the motherf—kin’ problem.”
Despite Tory shooting her, Megan said she tried to “spare” him.
“If you really want to tell the motherfucking truth, I tried to save [him]. Even though he shot me, I tried to spare him. And y’all motherfuckers is not sparing me. That’s crazy.”
Megan said she did not alert the authorities about the shooting nor Tory’s gun due to the high climate of the police-involved killings of Black Americans.
During the Live, Megan also shared that Tory is secretly ordering his publicist and team to lie about the shooting.
“You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying and
sh-t. Stop lying.”
Looking back at how Tory’s team is attempting to denounce Megan’s claims, the Houston rapper said she regrets protecting him.
