Megan Thee Stallion Is Placing Her Healing Over Music At The Moment

Hotties looking for a new Megan Thee Stallion project any time soon will have to enjoy “Savage” for a while longer.

The rapper has been spotted hanging out at the Renaissance tour and enjoying a wedding with a new friend, Romelu Lukaku. While many would speculate that new music is on the way, Meg has confirmed that the studio simply is not her focus at the moment

“Fans can expect new music when I’m in a better place. Right now, I’m focused on healing,” the Houston Hottie revealed to InStyle.

Judging by the troubled past few years Meg has endured, a mental break is necessary. In March 2019, her mother and manager, Holly Thomas, passed away from a brain tumor. Two weeks later, her grandmother died. Then in July 2020, the music world was stunned when the superstar was shot by former friend Tory Lanez. The shooting sparked a nearly three-year legal battle, which resulted in Lanez spewing accusations at Meg and maintaining that he never shot her. Even after he was found guilty, the case continues to be heavy for the rapper, who has mostly kept to herself following the verdict. She has endured much of this while undergoing a separate court battle with her record label, 1501 Entertainment, as she works to be released from her contract.

These days, the Grammy award winner is focused on taking time to herself in an effort to avoid becoming overwhelmed and “burning out.” Megan Thee Stallion’s last album, “Traumazine,” arrived in August 2022 and spawned the hit “Plan B.” Things have been relatively quiet for her musically since then.

Kudos to Meg for putting herself first, even if it means the fans won’t have any Hot Girl Summer anthems to look forward to.
