Veteran rapper and actor Method Man recently offered a candid take on Drake’s 2013 single “Wu‑Tang Forever,” questioning the song’s connection to his group, the Wu‑Tang Clan. On the “7 PM in Brooklyn” podcast with Carmelo Anthony, he explained that although he holds respect for Drake’s artistry, he simply could not get behind the track himself.

“I like Drake. I think he’s a dope artist. He puts out some great music, obviously,” he stated.
Method Man revealed that Drake had sent the group the record while they were overseas. Some members attempted to write to it, but for Meth, it did not click.
“I don’t like it. I was like, ‘What does this have to do with Wu‑Tang Forever?’ I wasn’t questioning his ability. For my taste, I wasn’t getting on that,” the actor explained.
A version with Drake and the Wu-Tang Clan never surfaced, but the track remains a standout on Drizzy’s “Nothing Was the Same” album, which is now seven times platinum in the U.S.
