Michael B. Jordan is happily in love with his girlfriend Lori Harvey, and he wants the world to know it.
The 34-year-old actor has been publicly professing his love for 24-year-old Harvey on social media for months, and when the actor was asked why he does it, he didn’t hesitate to respond.
Jordan has always been very private about his love life, but that was before Lori. In an interview with People.com, he shared the reason why he’s so public about celebrating this romance.
“I’m still private, and I want to protect that, but it just felt like it was a moment of just wanting to put it out there and move on,” he says in this week’s issue.”I am extremely happy.”
Jordan is starring in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, which comes out on Amazon Prime Video on April 30th. The “Black Panther” actor believes that benign open about his relationship will help bring everyone’s focus back to his work.
“I think when you get older, you feel more comfortable about the [public nature] of the business that we’re in. So for me, it was a moment to, I guess, take ownership of that and then get back to work,” Jordan said.
