Michelle Obama Blasts Donald Trump In Her New Memoir “Becoming”, Trump Fires Back

Forever First Lady Michelle Obama spoke on Donald Trump in her new book, #Becoming, expressing how in shock she was the night she learned he would replace her husband.

In the memoir, Obama talked about how she assumed Trump was “grandstanding” when he announced he was running for president in 2015. She also discussed how in disbelief she was at how many women would choose a “misogynist” over Hillary Clinton, who she believes is “an exceptionally qualified female candidate.” She explained how her body “buzzed with fury” after seeing the Access Hollywood tape, where Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women.

She also mentioned that she believed Trump’s “birther” campaign, which questioned her husband’s citizenship, was bigoted, dangerous and “deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks.” She felt Trump’s role in pushing that false narrative on her husband put her family at risk. She wrote, “What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this, I’d never forgive him.”

According to Michelle, Trump’s message, which appears in bold print in the book, was his way of saying, “I can hurt you and get away with it.” She accused Trump of using body language to “stalk” Clinton during an election debate and explained how Trump would follow Clinton around the stage and stand nearby “trying to diminish her presence.”

But now, Trump has fired back Obama’s claims in statement made to CNN, saying, “She got paid a lot of money to write a book and they always expect a little controversy. I’ll give you a little controversy back, I’ll never forgive him [Barack Obama] for what he did to our US military by not funding it properly. It was depleted. Everything was old and tired…and I came in and had to fix it. And I’m in the process of spending tremendous amounts of money. So I’ll never forgive him…What he did to our military made this country very unsafe for you and you and you.”

“Becoming” will be released for purchase on November 13th.
