On Wednesday, the Clark County coroner’s office revealed Prodigy’s cause of death has been ruled as accidental choking, due largely in part to an egg, TMZ reports.
The Clark County Medical Examiner announced its ruling after completing an investigation into the rappers death, revealing to Complex that the “cause of death was choking and the manner was an accident.”
In June, the Mobb Deep MC, who battled sickle cell anemia his entire life, was hospitalized with complications from his condition following a meet-and-greet in Las Vegas, as the condition flared in the heat. Days later, the rapper passed.
He was 42.
